Will Kurt showed us how the University of Nevada, Reno, is using Microsoft Surface in the library. I confess to not really getting it as he showed little blue dots and told us about the rules of this game. But when he got to using Surface to meet the needs of students in anatomy and physiology, I got hooked. Body parts show up on Surface and can be moved and changed by touching them. This is real interactive learning and I can see there would be many other potential uses within not just libraries but also other institutions such as universities, historical collections, museums, and archives.
